Research Consulting & Professional Development

I offer the following research and consulting services:

I have advanced research skills and experience solving complex problems using both quantitative and qualitative research methods in real-life and laboratory settings. In addition, I have developed and delivered presentations, reports, and training sessions on a range of learning topics to a variety of audiences, including primary, secondary and post-secondary students, teachers, academics, and administrators.

 

​Sample of Past Projects and Knowledge Mobilization

  • Created a teacher and student learning resource framework for K-3 climate education in BC for the Climate Action Secretariat/Ministry of Environment.

  • Completed a literature review of best practices for graduate supervision for the UVic Ombudsperson.

  • Created and facilitated hands-on presentations about self-regulated learning for middle and high school students, as well as for professional development for teachers and educational assistants.

  • Managed research projects including conducting literature reviews, securing ethical approval, considering data privacy issues, using advanced quantitative and qualitative analytic methods, writing research results for academic and public audiences, and publishing findings in academic journals.
