Adult Counselling
(Ages 19+)
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious and not sure what to do next? Have you wanted to try counselling but don't know if it's for you or where to start?
Well, then you're in the right place!
I work as a therapist with adult clients who are experiencing stress, feeling anxious, or dealing with life problems that seem overwhelming or any other concern! We will work together collaboratively and at your pace to understand your biggest priority, what change you would like to see, and how to make progress toward that change.
With my adult clients, I use solution-focused and cognitive-behavioural approaches that are suitable for short-term counselling (e.g., 5-10 sessions) and that help you identify and understand what may be contributing to your stress and/or anxiety.

With the new BCTF agreement covering RCCs for teachers, my 7 years experience working in K-12 environments make me a wonderful option for teachers seeking a therapist.

I work with postdoctoral researchers, professors, sessional instructors, and other staff and faculty in academia due to my lived experience in this context.
